Windsurfing

We finally got a chance to go up to Deer Creek and windsurf this weekend.

A firefighting helicopter picked up a load of water while we were there. They were fighting the bridal veil falls fire.

Tim going out.

Tim coming in. He's on a small plane (fast enough for the board to skim the water and the nose to come up).

Heavy Lifting

We've started the bathroom re-model and the other day my husband decided to remove the 300+ pound cast iron tub by himself! Despite my protests he got it out. Any volunteers to help him put in the new tub?

Memory Tag

Here are the rules:
1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

And the winner is.....

Since the blog poll resulted in another tie....I went with my gut and went back to white. It's not totally obvious in the picture but the white paint on the shutters is brighter than the house so now I'm still not sure. I guess I could always wait for them to get dirty enough to match the siding.

Opinions please!

Tim and I have been discussing this for a couple weeks and we've decided we need a third opinion. We decided to paint the front door and Tim really wanted to paint it green. I'm fine with the green front door but not so sure about the green shutters. I think there is too much white on the other side of the door for the shutters to be green. It's not balanced. Tim likes the green shutters. Therein lies the disagreement and I have resisted putting a second coat of paint on the shutters until we decide if they will stay green or go back to white. So we need your honest opinion! Should the shutters be green or white?

Here's an old picture for reference.
