Emery turns 2!

Emery turned 2 years old a few days ago. I made a rainbow themed cake for her party but also wanted to try my hand at cake pops....hence the balls on top of and surrounding the cake.

Jackie part 2

The kids had so much fun when cousin Jackie came for a visit. Jackson loved having her read stories to him before bed.

Emery was tired every night from playing.

And she wasn't happy when it was time for Aunt Jill and Jackie to leave

Time to play catch up. Cousin Jackie came for a visit in March. We went to the zoo and the aquarium.

The train was open for the first time this season....always a favorite with the kids. We also saw Michelle, Sophia and Andrew!

Crazy hair and Snow

Emery's hair is finally getting longer. It's even long enough that sometimes I have to brush it out of the way to put sunblock on her scar! And Tim likes to do this after her bath:

We also finally convinced the kids that playing in the snow was fun since this is (cross your fingers) probably the last snow storm with enough snow to play in for a while.
