Moab in October
We went to Moab again, this time for our friend Michelle's 40th birthday. We had some great hiking weather and the scenery never gets old.
One of new favorite hikes is the Fisher Towers hike. Amazing fins that people actually climb.

The Jewell Tibbet Arch hike is another favorite because
we never see anyone else on the hike. This time we did not see any other hikers but we did watch a helicopter land on a ledge and drop off a person with climbing gear.

Our last and most challenging hike was the Moab Rim Trail. It's about a mile and a half and climbs 900 feet to an overlook of the Moab valley. The kids did great and the view was worth it!

Grandparetns Day 2012
This year we went to Mirror Lake and the Provo River Falls for our Grandparents Day adventure. We had beautiful weather, a fun hike around the lake and got to see parts of the falls we haven't seen before because the water was so low.
Ballet
Emery started ballet classes in September and loves it. I think she especially likes dressing up in her leotard, tights and ballet shoes.

Lake Mary hike
We tried again to hike to Lake Mary a couple of days after Labor Day. This time there were very few people, the weather was perfect and we had the lake to ourselves when we got there. Definitely worth the wait.
Labor Day 2012
Hiked above Brighton ski resort on Labor Day trying to get to Lake Mary but it was very crowded. So we got this picture and decided to turn around and try again another day.

Moab, Aug 2012
Moab in August is hot, but also less crowded. We didn't see another person on 3 of our hikes.
The Wash hike-one of our favorites
Millcreek falls hike
Jewel Tibbet Arch hike-first time for this hike and quickly became a favorite. Felt like we were alone in the world
