Cutie Pie

Just liked this one. It's amazing he's so happy. He had his 1 year shots today plus a blood draw ;-(
That was a nightmare. It took 4 people to hold him down so they could draw the blood.

On to bigger things!

Well, I turn my back for 1 minute and Jackson decides the dining room chair would look much better in his room. I could hear him pushing it but I didn't think he could get that far! He pushed it all the way down the hall and into his room, negotiating two corners on the way! By the time I grabbed the camera, this is what I got. On a side note...Guess I'll be dusting that rocking horse soon!

He loves to push things

We got him this winnie the pooh train for his birthday. Another thing for him to push around the house. He had to give his new birthday bear a push around the house as well.

Jackson turns 1!!!

Jackson's 1st birthday was friday and we had a party for him on sunday. He wore the birthday hat the entire time! I made the teddy bear cake. It took a couple of hours but it turned out pretty cute. He devoured his piece of cake but didn't make too much of a mess although I think the dog did her share of cleaning up! We also celebrated Tim's birthday and they had matching crowns.

Trip to Wisconsin

We were in Wisconsin visiting Tim's family about a week ago and Jack had fun at the beach. His cousin Jackie dug him a hole in the hot sand while they waited to go in the water.

Starting to walk!

So Jackson is starting to walk! He's been cruising around on this little toy car for about a week now and he's starting to stand on his own and even take one or two steps! Yikes! It won't be long now.......

Dog Lake

We hiked to Dog Lake yesterday. We were not all that impressed with the lake itself. It was murky looking. Plus there was a big cloud overhead and the mosquitoes were swarming. We literally ran from them as they were landing on Jackson's head. But the hike was beautiful and as the name implies, Kaiya came along and had a great time!
