Summer Fun

It's been a busy summer for us which is why I haven't posted in ummm, almost 3 months.....yep.

Tim started off the summer by tearing up the yard and digging big holes to put in a new sprinkling system. It was a looong project.

Which made him tired

In June we went to Vegas. Tim had a conference so we got to play:

On the strip

And back on the strip

The kids saw their first parade on the 4th of July

And got to stay up late for fireworks

While Tim worked on sprinklers, I worked on my garden

We had lots of awesome sunsets

We went hiking at Alta

Where there was still a lot of snow for the END of July!

And Jackson learned to pose

We saw Lyle Lovett in the rain at Red Butte

The kids BOTH smiled for me!

And I finished my garden (mostly)

This year for our Anniversary trip, we went to our favorite Southern Utah spot-Moab.

Easter

Emery turns 2!

Emery turned 2 years old a few days ago. I made a rainbow themed cake for her party but also wanted to try my hand at cake pops....hence the balls on top of and surrounding the cake.

Jackie part 2

The kids had so much fun when cousin Jackie came for a visit. Jackson loved having her read stories to him before bed.

Emery was tired every night from playing.

And she wasn't happy when it was time for Aunt Jill and Jackie to leave

Time to play catch up. Cousin Jackie came for a visit in March. We went to the zoo and the aquarium.

The train was open for the first time this season....always a favorite with the kids. We also saw Michelle, Sophia and Andrew!
