Jackson and Emery's cousin Jackie and Aunt Jill are in town visiting from Wisconsin this weekend.

6 weeks

Time is flying. Emery is 6 weeks old already. She's smiling a lot more now and is usually only up once at night to eat.

Take a little off the top

Jackson got his first haircut today. Yes, he's almost 3 years old and has never had one. His hair is like mine...grows extremely slowly. So this morning I mentioned I might take him to get a haircut since it was finally looking kinda unkempt. Tim said he'd do it.

Good job dad.

Graduation Day!!!

Congratulations Tim!!

Three long years and 2 kids later, Tim graduated with his Masters in Nursing today. He started the Nurse Practitioner program the day after Jackson was born. For the last three years he has worked two jobs, spent countless late nights studying or finishing a paper, completed hundreds of clinical hours and has been a great dad through it all. We are so proud of you!

4 Weeks

Emery is 4 weeks old today. She's awake more, cries more, spits up more and wants to be held ALL the time. Yep, she's a baby. So I'm adjusting to how to take care of 2 kids. Jackson is very sweet with her. He asks about her first thing in the morning and calls her Emery baby.

While I was busy in the kitchen.....

While I was nursing Emery, Jackson read us a story. Guess he listens better than I thought during bedtime stories!
